Hello friends and welcome to November! It is hard to believe that school started many weeks ago, that October has come and gone, and we now find ourselves in the glorious month of November. (It may or may not be a favorite around here!)

True to tradition, we are going to spend this month focusing on gratitude. But before you get out your pens and pencils and start making a list of things you’re thankful for, we want to introduce you to November’s theme: Seeing God’s Hand Through Gratitude.

As D. De Haan wrote,

If we would view through eyes of faith The course of each new day, We’d quickly see God’s gracious hand In all that comes our way.

With this theme, our hope is that your eyes will be opened to all the ways God extends His hands—even His love, His mercy, and His care—into your life.

We believe that when we take time to truly appreciate all we have, the important things gain clarity and the distractions fade away. To this end, we’ve created a Daily Devotional Guide that features a daily topic with accompanying scriptures, hymns or poems, inspired words, and various invitations to ponder and reflect, e.g., thought questions, journal prompts, or sharing your insights and ideas on social media.

"As I would cast my mind over the day, I would see evidence of what God had done for one of us that I had not recognized in the busy moments of the day. As that happened, and it happened often, I realized that trying to remember had allowed God to show me what He had done."

— Henry B. Eyring

We sure hope you’ll join us this month in daily devotion as we seek to see God’s hand through gratitude. We can’t wait to hear what you have to share.
